Lyrics

In a tower laced with silver gears,
He whispered to the night,
"Just one more turn… one more year…"
To pull her back to light.

He wound the hands with shaking hope,
Fighting the cruel design—
A father reaching through the dark,
And slipping out of time.

Clocks twist in dissonance,
A lullaby gone wrong.
Each second cuts a memory,
Each hour feels too long.

He tried to bend the breath of fate,
But morning never stayed.
The stars fell out of line too late—
The sky just turned to gray.

The wheels now cry, the wires shake,
A trembling lullaby.
He tore the world to bring her back,
But time won't hear his cry.

The gears burned black, the mirrors split,
Night spilled from every chime.
He built a cage of rust and grit,
A tomb against the spine.

Her voice was faint inside the walls,
But echoed in his veins.
He wandered halls where silence falls,
Still whispering her name.

The pendulum swings hard and wide,
A heart in iron chains.
He tried to stitch a dying dream,
But nothing held the pain.

He tried to bend the breath of fate,
But morning never stayed.
The stars fell out of line too late—
His world had slipped away.

The wheels now cry, the wires shake,
A fractured lullaby.
He broke the sky to bring her home,
But time refused his cry.

Tick—tick—tick—tick, pull it back!
Rewind the bells, reverse the crack!
Gears unwind but hearts still fade,
You can't unlive a yesterday.

Her laughter lost in steam and haze…

He turned the clocks and begged she'd wake—
But love won't un-die.

Now time runs backward, slipping, wrong—
He whispers her goodbye.

The clock runs wild, the song undone—
The moon forgets to rise.

He lives inside the hours lost,
A ghost beneath the skies.
